YOUR TEAM
You will operate in the chassis department within the domain Vehicle Motion & Energy and be part of a highly motivated and interdisciplinary developer team, which is responsible for innovative chassis functions. Our deliverables \xe2\x80\x93 mainly software components and cross-connected software functionalities \xe2\x80\x93 contain the core functions for chassis control systems and ADAS across the Volkswagen Group product portfolio. Thereby, we enable future innovations, new business models and best-in-class driving dynamics and deliver a significant contribution to the overall driver experience.
You will be responsible for the coordination and operation of the Vehicle Motion & Energie development car fleet.
Ensuring vehicle availability for function development along the project planning (plan and feed-in demands)
Act as point of contact and participate in central coordination meetings with the brands and Cariad\xc2\xb4s vehicle management for planning and coordination of associated processes
Coordination of vehicles with the developers for in car vehicle testing on side, proving grounds, and testing trips as well as ensuring maintenance, updates, and vehicle transport
Facilitate necessary vehicle measurement technology and corresponding installations
Support of developers during commissioning of vehicles and software functions
Planning and execution of department test trips
Successful completed study in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering, vehicle technology studies or a comparable course of studies
Experience in vehicle development and the corresponding structures in development and workshops
Preferably experience and interest in vehicle-level communication networks
High degree of personal initiative, structured work-habits and solution-oriented
Good team player, open and communicative, with ability to learn, sense of responsibility and talent in organisational talent
Fluent in writing and speaking German
