We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help build and operate the next generation streaming platform for the German market. Together with the team, you are building the new glue code and tools for our platform, based on AWS and GCP, which is the core of all our services. Our mission is to provide our Engineering teams with an up-to-date and easy-to-use toolset following the best practices in the industry.

What you can expect in this role
Design and provide best practices in terms of cloud-infrastructure provisioning and usage of several cloud services
Foster excellence in the engineering teams in points of security, scalability, and reliability and support them on their microservice principles and architectural approaches by actively participating in architecture discussions and proposing solutions to system/product changes across teams
Setup and maintain monitoring, metrics, and alerting systems for fine-grained observability of the entire infrastructure across all products
Be part of an on-call schedule (24x7), handling incident management together with our engineering teams
Automate build and deployment processes, by providing technical guidance and tools to our engineering teams for faster releases
Write documentation and training to onboard and level up the infrastructure knowledge within the organization
You have proven experience with one of the major cloud providers, AWS and/or GCP preferred - experience with AWS ECS, EKS or GCP CloudRun, GKE is a plus
Also, you have several years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Software Developer roles with expirience in IaC and CI/CD
You are a passionate Linux enthusiast with a good understanding of CS fundamentals, with scripting knowledge in any modern language like Python, Golang, Java, NodeJs, Ruby, etc.
You are very familiar with monitoring / observability toolings like Prometheus, Dynatrace, DataDog and ELK stack, know how to integrate and used them effeciently
You have good written and verbal English communication skills - English is our team language
