Finance Systems Transformation is responsible for running SHAPE+ - a DHL Group cross-divisional Finance transformation program. SHAPE+ aims at driving standardization and automation of core Accounting and Cost Accounting processes across Business Units and its consolidation into ONE SAP S/4HANA Finance ERP platform. This will significantly increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our Finance set-up and is the necessary basis for the continuous transformation and digitalization of the DHL Group Finance organization.
Within the SHAPE+ organization, the Program, Deployment & Change Management team is responsible for the central program management of the transformation program, the overall deployment management of the platform, the definition and governance of the project methodology, training, and enablement of the teams as well as the overall change management and communication. It is complemented by Process Owners and ERP Platform Designers.
As a Senior Manager Project Standards & Tools (f/m/x), you will support the Head of Project Steering & Methodology in setting methodology, project process & tool standards, providing methodology guidance and driving project assurance to enable the successful delivery and steering of SHAPE+.
Your tasks
Own and define the methodology, project process & tool standards for the SHAPE+ program in alignment with different expert teams
Continuously improve these standards and work closely with deployment teams to identity improvement potential and ensure their applicability and effectiveness
Consult experts in aggregating complex information and procedures into simple and crisp how-to guidance fit for purpose and target groups
Ensure the harmonization of guidelines, standards and global templates across the project
Onboard and enable deployment teams and expert groups to adhere to the SHAPE+ methodology, process & tool standards and become their advocate
Set up program governance structures & processes and define quality assurance measurements and KPIs in line with the project methodology
Coordinate tool experts within the project and define and harmonize the SHAPE+ project software & tool landscape
Act as the point of contact for project tools and continuously improve their usage and follow up on market innovation and developments
Your profile
Sound organizational and project management skills with advanced knowledge in agile and waterfall project management standards (g. PMI, PRINCE2, SCRUM, SAP Activate)
Experience in defining structures and set up of projects or initiatives
Experience in business process management & optimization (BPO), Lean Management (g. Six Sigma or DHL FirstChoice certification) or quality assurance
Solid experience in stakeholder management up to C-level management and in a global and complex project set-up
Consulting background is a strong plus
Ability to influence others and to build storylines and vision
Experience in SAP deployment or IT transformation projects is beneficial
Strong willingness to approach projects with a can-do attitude, pragmatism, and persistence, comfortable in a fast-moving, fluid, international environment
Experience in knowledge management and relevant software is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft O365 Suite
Experience in the usage of project management software (g. MS Project, Jira, Confluence)
IT background and skills (g. PMP, ITIL, DevOps certifications) and interest in following latest software developments and digitalization trends
Superior English skills, German and further languages are beneficial
