The Senior Engineering Project Manager (m/f/d) acts as a subject matter expert to lead complex R&D projects (particularly for automated dialysate preparation systems and related disposables) from concept to product launch.
Leads complex medical device R&D projects across all phases: concept, planning of project, project execution (incl V&V) and transfer in production
Collaborating across all the functional areas (R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations, Service and others) necessary to insure successful project completion and delivery
Creating, optimizing, and driving structured schedules and project plans. Setting and meeting deadlines with quality deliverables, effectively adapting and modifying plans based on changing conditions or data
Anticipating, identifying, documenting and managing key program risks; proposing and driving appropriate mitigation and contingency plans
Preparing of project dashboards and communicating progress clearly across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributor to senior executive
Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
Planning of project costs, resource requirements and negotiating Core Team resources with R&D functional managers as well as assisting Core Team Members in negotiating extended team staffing. Collaborate in project cost estimation
Leading teams to define and prioritize scope, objectives, and requirements
Building effective relationships with core and extended team members, functional managers, senior management, and customers
Mentor and train project team members on project management and launch methodologies and tools
Bachelor\'s Degree in a technical field (i. e. mechanical engineering, physics) as well as a proven project management qualification
Minimum 8 years of related experience in product development and/or project management preferably in the medical device industry
Proficient in the use of Project management tools to develop schedules, allocate resources, and track progress
Excellent leadership skills and experience in leading high-performance technical teams
Outstanding track record driving projects to completion on time, within budget and in high quality
Design control knowledge for medical device (active and passive medical devices)
Experience in system developments (disposable and active medical device)
