- Create design and documentation according to team\'s guidelines.
- Collaborate with product team, engineering teams and business stakeholders for converting abstract requirements to technical items.
- Peer review deliverables of team members and provide constructive feedback based on the guidelines of the team.
- Collaborate with QA and DevOps team members to define the dependency as requirement.
- Adhere to on call duty schedule during contractual working hours and follow the incident management process in the event of an incident on the responsible services.
- Prioritize incident and problem management and provide resolution.
- Develop into the technical point of contact for the team\'s services and underlying infrastructure like database, logs, pubsub systems.
- Be an effective mentor for junior and mid level engineers.
- Optimizing application performance and ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of the backend systems.
- Solid development and maintenance experience of 7+ years in Java using Spring frameworks
- Experience in developing microservices and maintaining the same in production environment
- Solid understanding of backend technologies and architectures, including RESTful APIs, microservices, databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), message queues.
- Experience in practicing Scrum framework and ability to work profoundly with Jira tool
- Ability to communicate with the tech team, product team and business stakeholders in English
