We are currently seeking a full-time Research Associate TCR Discovery* to support our team in the development and implementation of next generation T cell receptors (TCRs) for our innovative Adoptive Cell Therapy (ACT) product candidates. You will work within the Immatics Discovery Unit based in Tuebingen (Germany) in the department of TCR Discovery, interacting with colleagues from other research departments in a highly interdisciplinary environment. Your analytical reasoning and action-oriented style as well as your organization and communication skills will contribute to the team\'s success.
Your mission
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:
Immunological and cell biological work: cell culture of cell lines and primary cell cultures, functional T-cell assays, flow cytometric measurements
Molecular biology work: PCR, sample preparation for next generation sequencing
Production of lentiviral particles for the modification of primary human lymphocytes and cell lines
Planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of the corresponding experiments
Establishment/further development of new methods and processes in the laboratory as well as participation in the creation of the associated work instructions (SOPs)
Management of lab-associated overhead work, e.g., device management.
You a completed vocational training (Berufsausbildung Biologielaborant*in oder BTA) or B.Sc./M.Sc. degree in Life Sciences with hands-on experience in sterile working with tissue cultures, ideally in the context of immune cells and functional assessment thereof (activation, killing). You embrace rapidly changing requirements with an open mind and show a high degree of flexibility in an environment which is marked by a constant striving for excellence. We expect a high degree of independent working, analytical reasoning and good communication skills in English. You approach tasks in a structured, reliable and foresighted manner.
