As R&D Competence Manager, you are going to drive key strategic aspects in order to grow and develop our Business Area Autonomous Mobility (AM) R&D organization. You are responsible for defining, maintaining and executing all strategic R&D topics related to internal competence management within AM in close collaboration with the R&D organizations. In partnership with R&D leadership, you are going to analyze current competence status, identify strategic competence growth opportunities based on data, and derive strategic improvement roadmaps. In collaboration with the AM learning team and a world-wide network of stakeholders and peers, you are going to support and guide the R&D Organizations in the implementation of the identified improvements.
Furthermore, your tasks will include the following responsibilities:
Maintaining and executing the short-term and long-term Competence Strategy within the R&D business
Building the bridge between Strategic Competence needs and individual employee development
Supporting R&D Organizations to derive appropriate measures and close identified competence gaps
Ensuring consistent progress along the defined competence road map towards gap-close or selected growth areas
Maintaining a relation between the Automotive Level Competence Framework, Group HR, and the Business Area AM specific implementation
Incorporating changes and provide feedback on BA specific improvements
Facilitating a data-driven approach to strategically grow the right competencies, in the right time, in the right place
Acting as a role model of our company values and culture of a continuous learning organization
Academic Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or comparable qualification
Long term experience in the area of people management, competence development and cooperating with HR
Experience in project management, preferably change or organizational development projects
Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken) as well as excellent communication skills
Passion for continuous learning, guiding people to grow talents, or strategic development
Structured and independent working-style as well as team-player mentality
