Details of the role and how it fits into the team

The Issuing business line is first and foremost responsible for driving the card-based payment business of Deutsche Bank and the Merchant Solutions Business Division. As part of a new business development initiative, we will (a) design new products (e.g., co-branded cards and corporate cards) and innovative product features to increase our market share in the card-based payment market and (b) co-create propositions to the market with corporate/B2B clients from ideation to implementation. You will be the link from Merchant Solutions to internal stakeholders across the bank as well as our cooperation partners, and a key driver of joint business development projects. You will manage on of our anchor projects and coordinate internal/external stakeholders to bring new ideas to life with new product and feature launches.

Your key responsibilities

• Focusing on day-to-day delivery of product/project- and business development-related tasks in time and quality
• Analysing the business impact of new products and product features, as well as marketing and sales initiatives
• Developing recommendations for further product/feature development measures
• Supporting project managers to prepare senior stakeholder meetings (for internal stakeholders and client

counterparts) * Coordinating meetings and workshops with clients and cooperation partners

• Organizing the project management office for an anchor project, to ensure project success
• Acting as key contact person for dedicated (sub)workstream and/or project deliverables within the business

development initiative Your skills and experiences

• Good overview of the market and trends in payments and/or cash management; more detailed product knowledge is a plus
• 2+ years of relevant experience in Banking, Project Management or Consulting
• Responsible, committed personality with excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Driven and motivated individual with a proven ability to execute tasks in quality and time
