\n\n Your Tasks\n
\n\n
\n\n In your role as Operational Purchaser, you have the entire order process in your hands: from needs assessment through order placement to price negotiations with suppliers/vendors and invoice approval.\n

- Contract negotiations: In consultation with strategic purchasing, you play an active part in contract and price negotiations to secure competitive conditions for Hannover Re.\n
- Supplier relationship management: You select potential new suppliers and continuously expand cooperation.\n
- Cost optimisation: You identify opportunities for cost and process optimisation.\n
- Order management: You initiate orders at your own responsibility and track them until the goods are received.\n
- Invoice coordination: You examine incoming invoices and approve them in conformity with our compliance policies.\n
- Complaint management: In the event of deficiencies, quality problems or other discrepancies with the delivery, you are responsible for coordination between the consumer and the vendor. You document them and take appropriate countermeasures (1st-level escalation).\n

\n\nYour Profile\n
\n\n
\n- \n
- Several years of professional experience in the operational purchasing of services, in global procurement management and/or in supplier relationship management\n
- Degree in business administration, commercial training or equivalent qualification\n
- Good knowledge of purchasing and service management tools\n
- Proficient user skills in German and English (at least level C1)\n
