Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Junior Sub Project Lead - Cable Installation Offshore (m/w/d) at our location/s Hannover who will contribute to this. That might be you?

You will be trained and accompanied by experienced colleagues in the technical procedures and processes of a cable installation until you feel fit enough to manage the project independently with respect to the following main tasks:

• Managing the full technical scope regarding the installation offshore cables in accordance with all relevant project contracts and TenneT specifications, starting from EPC contract signing until the handover to the operations department after installation
• Managing the sub project in all aspects regarding the cable installation, especially monitoring the cable contractor\'s design and engineering; taking responsibility for providing and coordinating all TenneT`s supplies to the sub project, e. g. survey data
• Reviewing and approving contractor\'s engineering, procedures and activities, also on site/vessel visits
• Selecting and managing our client representatives during all relevant working steps wherever required
• Aligning with TenneT\'s technical specialists of different organizational units, as well as with the Marine Warranty Surveyor and with relevant authorities, wherever further expertise is needed in order to gain the highest possible quality for the project
• Managing the interface to the offshore platform for pulling in the cable
• Ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality and HSE guidelines, TenneTs documentation requirements and authority regulations

• You have a Master\'s degree in the field of civil or mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Management of offshore projects is a motivating factor for you. First working experience especially with offshore cables is of advantage
• In order to cooperate effectively with the teams and external service providers, you need to have an assertive, independent, open-minded and team-oriented personality and bring good communication skills
• You are dynamic, enthusiastic, and intrinsically motivated. You take ownership and initiatives
• Business fluency in both English and German, speaking and writing
• We expect you to be willing to travel also to offshore vessel/sites combined with a class B driving licence
