\nPurpose of the role

As Group Tax Manager (all gender) you are supporting in all direct tax matters of Intersnack Group and its subsidiaries in cooperation with external tax advisors and in alignment with the Head of Group Tax.

Responsibilities

• You manage tax reporting processes including shareholder and Pillar 2 tax reporting
• You support in managing the process for the transfer pricing documentation and support the preparation of the transfer pricing documentation for the German group companies and advise our foreign companies on its preparation
• You are responsible for our inbound and outbound withholding tax positions. In doing so, you will monitor the withholding tax processes and ensure the identification and implementation of efficiency and improvement potentials
• You will support the management of tax return and compliance processes, actively working with our tax advisors
• You are a contact person for other departments, also cross-functionally, e.g. legal, accounting, etc. as well as other group companies
• You assist in all phases of tax audits and contribute to tax planning and tax restructuring projects

• University degree in the field of law (2. Staatsexamen) / Business Administration / Economics or Diplom-Finanzwirt/in
• At least 3 years of professional (tax) experience in tax advisory firms or comparable experience in an international corporate environment
• Certified tax advisor preferential but not a must
• High affinity to data management / workflows and openness to new IT solutions, software, tools and applications
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 (e.g. Power Platform) advantageous
• Profound knowledge and practical experience in international tax law // solid knowledge in German direct tax law
• Fluent in English and German
• Affinity for working with new technologies/data (e.g. AI, machine learning, etc.)
