To support our KEU OEM Sales Team in Aschheim we are looking for:
German OEM Customer Sales Account Manager (m/f/d)
You will be part of the European Sales department and be based at KYB\'s Technical Center in Munich. Under the supervision of the Senior Sales Manager you are responsible for the daily sales activities and the development of the sales relationship between KYB and its German Customers, namely Daimler, VW and BMW, for suspension products. Additionally, you also support the development of Steering and Motorcycle products business with German customers. Your main task will be to lead sales activities with your assigned customers as follows:
Quotation and negotiation of modifications in projects during development phase and mass production phase, as well as the quotation of prototypes
Price follow-up of the ongoing projects
Calculation and implementation of raw material price evolutions
Participation in cost reduction and VA/VE activities
Preparation of logistics quotations for the assigned customers
Management of purchase orders, price lists, as well as inventory of customer owned tools
Management of capacity enquiries, certificates of origin and CSR requisites from the customers
Commercial management of product modification proposals
Establishment of a solid and sustainable relationship with the customers\' purchasing and engineering departments
Constant contact with the German Customers through telephone, videoconference; and when possible face to face meetings at the customers\' premises
Frequent customer visits and internal activities in the Spain Technical Center and production plants in Spain and the Czech Republic
Continuous communication and reporting to the Sales team based in Spain
Support the development of Steering & Motorcycle products business by acting as a liaison and facilitating the communication between German Customers and mother company KYB in Japan.
Supporting the Senior Sales Manager with:
the preparation of Sales Plans, weekly and monthly management reports, and of quotations for new projects
Annual price negotiations with the customers (discounts, material evolutions, volumes)
The management of the profitability of the assigned customer accounts and the documentation generated during the commercial activities
Monitoring and responsibility over the customer satisfaction
Minimum 5 years\' experience in competitive fields in the automotive area
Engineer / Economics or similar background
Advanced knowledge of MS Office
Native in German and advanced written and spoken English skills, Spanish is an advantage
