We are looking for a committed, dynamic Financial Controller (m/f/d) to strengthen our 25-person team in the Munich city center. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment in a team that has a family-like atmosphere. The Schroder Real Estate team \xe2\x80\x93 part of Schroders Capital - has extensive experience and market access in the German, Austrian and Swiss real estate sectors. The team consists of over 40 experienced professionals who have been able to establish trusted and long-term relationships.
In recent years, the team has completed transactions in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Eastern Europe with a total market value of around EUR 6.6 billion. The Schroder Real Estate team offers customers a comprehensive service for the DACH region in the area of direct investments. As a fully integrated platform, we offer real estate investment and asset management services to global and domestic institutional investors, as well as family offices. The aim of Schroder Real Estate is to enable optimal value creation for the managed properties through active asset and investment management. Our approach is entrepreneurial and institutional in nature, aimed at stabilizing and developing cash flows and property values. We offer a solid understanding of the market and the ability to implement customized investment strategies in line with our clients\' risk/return objectives.
The Team
The Schroders Real Estate team consists of 40 experienced professionals located in Frankfurt and Munich. We are a versatile team with a wide range of responsibilities and are excited to welcome a new team member who is ready to take responsibility and drive diverse topics forward. What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do
\xc2\xb7 Participate in income and cost planning, budget tracking and ad-hoc analyses
\xc2\xb7 Prepare and process monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
\xc2\xb7 Support in the preparation and processing of operating and ancillary cost accounting
\xc2\xb7 Support in the preparation of monthly property accounting and organization of payment transactions
\xc2\xb7 Active participation in the team in the further development of the IT landscape and internal commercial organization
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
\xc2\xb7 Degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on real estate
\xc2\xb7 2-3 years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in the real estate sector
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of finance and accounting
\xc2\xb7 Strong affinity for IT and numbers, quick comprehension and interest in optimizing internal processes
\xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of Excel
