The U.S. Mission comprises the Embassy in Berlin and five consulates in Frankfurt, Munich, D\xc3\xbcsseldorf, Hamburg, and Leipzig and provides a wide array of services and support as well as playing a vital role in German American relations. The U.S. Embassy Berlin is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Finance Manager (Budgeting & Accounting) (m/f/d) [official title: Supervisory Financial Management Analyst (m/f/d)].
In this position you will be responsible for the supervision of the Budgeting & Accounting Section. You will also be responsible for budgeting, budget execution, allotment accounting, funds control, management analysis and reporting for all Department of State allotments for Mission Germany and all constituent posts. In addition, you will supervise the processing of accounting transactions and funds availability for several agencies and suspense deposit accounts.
You have completed two years (or completion of other equivalent post-secondary educational program or degree) of post-secondary education (vocational education, associate\'s degree or college/university studies). You were also able to gain prior experience in program, technical or administrative areas of accounting as well as having gained supervisory experience.
