ZEISS Meditec, a leading provider of medical technology solutions, is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Architect to support our team in Oberkochen, Germany or Eindhoven, the Netherlands. We are currently developing a state-of-the-art medical robot and are looking for a motivated and talented software professional to bring this project to life. Responsibilities:

Design and implement real-time embedded software systems for medical robots

Lead cross-functional teams to integrate software into the final product

Define and maintain software architecture to ensure scalability and performance of the system

Write, test, and debug software in C/C++

Solve and debug complex software problems

Develop software documentation and contribute to software development best practices

Mentor junior software engineers and provide technical guidance on software development projects

Ensure the software development process is compliant with ISO 13485 documentation and certification requirements

Your Profile

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 5 years of professional experience as an Embedded Software Engineer or Architect

Strong knowledge of C/C++ programming and real-time operating systems

Experience in software development for medical devices is a plus

Extensive knowledge of software development methods and best practices

Excellent team leadership and communication skills

Experience with enterprise architect is a plus

Fluent in German and English
