In your role, you will work closely with our Corporate Functions and Business Units to translate business requirements into data solutions, define data standards and principles, and shape the future with us.
Your tasks
You will be responsible for defining data flows, e.g. how data interfaces are managed from their source systems to the target systems and how data is transformed during transition
In doing so, you will ensure that the architecture and governance framework is adhered to in various initiatives
You will ensure the extension of the data governance principles and scope to the system landscape
Documenting metadata and data models at Sartorius using Data Catalog and similar architecture tools will round out your responsibilities
Your qualifications
You have a successfully completed degree in computer science, data science or a comparable degree
Several years of professional experience as a data architect, data engineer, senior data expert or in a similar function
Sound know-how of data management processes and dimensions (governance; analytics; operations, etc.)
You have a solid understanding of the master data management architecture, the business processes of an industrial company and data integration methods
You have strong digital literacy, data analysis skills and an affinity for business processesc
Strong communication skills, both in English and German, and an occasional willingness to travel complete your profile
