The Graph Database market is exploding and is projected to accelerate over the coming years. To help us capitalize on the demand for ArangoDB in areas such as Cyber Security, Retail, Logistics, SaaS, and Fraud to name a few, our team is looking for a talented, motivated Account Executive to join our team. You will be in charge of all steps in the sales process for the commercial versions of ArangoDB to our Enterprise clients in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Location

Germany/DACH. Only candidates in Germany will be considered for the position because of our presence and business. Location can be Cologne (Koln) or work-from-home role in other German locations. Some travel to client locations within DACH/EMEA may be required.

About the Role:

\n
  • \n
  • You build net new business from prospecting activities and generate additional pipelines from within your existing customer accounts\n
  • While you will receive Inbound Leads from Marketing activities, you will have a key focus on generating Net New Business within the DACH Region\n
  • You keep our CRM (Salesforce) fully updated with daily activities, track interactions with prospects and customers and ensure your pipeline is managed to the highest level\n
  • You deliver presentations and high-level demonstrations to potential customers to highlight the value of ArangoDB for their use cases\n
  • You work closely with Technical PreSales, Marketing, and Customer Success to help prospects uncover the benefits of ArangoDB to drive the adoption rate\n
  • You travel to customer sites as appropriate\n

Your Skills:

\n
  • \n
  • You have 3+ years of software sales experience in a deep techs field like databases, cloud, and/or open-source software\n
  • Key Requirement: Your English and German language must be fluent in both writing and verbal manner.\n
  • Sales experience in a startup company is preferred\n
  • You are more of a marathoner than a sprinter: Long sales cycles don\'t make you sweat\n
  • You are a self-motivated, independent individual, who likes to learn and become productive fast\n
  • You have a proven track record of success at enterprise software sales, selling IT/ infrastructure to a technical user base, and developing and managing key VP-level strategic relationships\n
  • You have superb relationship-building skills and the ability to understand and show the value of our product ArangoDB to clients\n
